Willie Randolph is one of the worst managers and the 18th manager for the Mets. He was to blame for the Mets not making it to the Play-off's in 2007 and 2008. He was fired by GM Omar Minaya. He is the first African-American Managers in Mets history followed by Jerry Manuel. He only managed the team from 2005-2008. He played for the Mets only in 1992. He was replaced by Jerry Manuel.
